General Information
How do I register my child for GO FAR?
When does GO FAR begin?
Practices will begin right after school the week of March 9th. Scroll down to see days and times for individual schools.
What race will GO FAR kids run?
Participants will be training to race the Young Life 5K on Saturday, May 2nd. (Kids can still do the GO FAR program even if they can’t run the 5K for any reason.)
How much does GO FAR cost?
- PROGRAM COST: The cost for GO FAR is $35 per student (this fee does NOT include the 5K race registration).
- RACE FEE: If your child chooses to run the Young Life 5K, a separate race registration fee will be required. Any family members or friends who want to run with your child will also register and pay for the race.
- NEED HELP? Scholarships are available to help qualifying students to participate in GO FAR. Please submit a paper form with the “Scholarship” box checked and we will contact you with more information.
Can I be involved with GO FAR?
Yes! We ALWAYS need volunteers! If you would like to help with training at your child’s school, please contact us and we will get you in touch with the coaches at your school.
